Welcome to Strathclyde University Incubator
If you're a young business with plans to grow, you've come to the right place.
If you are a more established business that has been adversely affected by the current economic climate and are considering down-sizing to see you through, you’ve come to the right place.
And if you are someone with just a seed of an idea that needs a bit more work on before you decide if its got potential to become a business or if you’ve got past that point and need a business address then you too have come to the right place.
We were Scotland's first business incubator, set up at the beginning of 1990 to support start-ups through the difficult early stages of growth. To date there have been around one hundred and twenty five businesses based here, many have established strong growth, steady recruitment and developed into international markets.
Our experience of working with the high technology sector in no way restricts the type of businesses we'd like to be based here. Since our inception we've assisted businesses involved with laser technology, software development and the creation of board games, amongst many!
We also recognise that the guidance we’ve offered many young companies over the last nineteen years is equally relevant to existing companies that may have been trading for many years but now find themselves having to restructure and reassess their market position.
Our Board of Directors are all highly experienced and skilled in key areas of business growth, all who provide a unique set of skills not found anywhere else.
Our dedicated ‘virtual office’ service is perfect if you are at the very early stage of your development. You might just be working on your all important business idea. We can assist with your market research, the development of your business plan and we put you in touch with the right people to help you take your next step. If you have already formalised your business but need an address, a phone number and someone to answer your calls then we can do that too.
What we are not is another serviced accommodation provider. The clue to what we do is in our name. We help businesses grow.
